Stewardship / Online Giving
Stewardship is an act of thanksgiving to God who continues to bless us with time, skills, health and wealth. By sharing these blessings, we are returning to God what actually came from Him. Stewardship is the model given by Jesus as He generously gave Himself in the service of others and offered his life for all of us. By our stewardship, we make a humble return of that sacrificial love. So, good stewardship (sharing of Treasure, Talent and Time) is the sign of a dynamic and growing parish community radiating true Christian charity, not only with parish boundaries, but the rest of the community as well.
-
Treasure – This is from our earnings, is offered for the maintenance of our parish Church, religious education programs, youth formation, Bible study classes, outreach activities in the community, world and evangelization.
-
Talent – A good steward shares his or her talents in order to benefit others. These talents are used to glorify God by using them wherever and whenever they are needed, in our families, our parish, or in our community.
-
Time – Our time is one of our most valuable possessions. A good steward dedicates some of his or her spare time in order to do good. Which should also include prayer, reflection, and works of mercy and ministry.
By giving of our treasure, talent, and time, we are good stewards of what we are so fortunate to have received from God. To volunteer for our ministries, click here.
